Great addition to the Stackpole pubs collection of WWII books
Panzer Aces v 3 aa 9780811706544 Books
This was a good read overall. It encapsulates the background and career of some of Germany's best tank commanders and aces that aren't covered by the overall history books. It gives a brief background of each, then moves into their career and their progression up through the ranks throughout the war. I really enjoyed the book.Product details

detail about the theme
Great soldiers; great stories!
Never saw a book with so many typo's still a good book with lots of info.....reads like a novel
Had no dislikes at all about this book.it was very informative and am going to purchase the first addition soon I build and paint radio control tanks and am really interested in world war two.
If you have read and enjoyed Panzer Aces, this book is a must to meet more of the soldiers of the German Army. A very interesting look. And once again a detailed biography of several influential people. Helps to round out the data available so that you can study all sides of the war from a more personal level.
Great arm chair read. All the men, units, and events in the stories are true. First person narration is often used and the accompanying photographs are interesting. Many of which are from personal collections of the veterans themselves and have never been published before. The book provides an interesting window that allows one to see how the "other side" lived, thought, and fought. Sometimes makes you wonder how anyone survived the indescribable horror of the Russian winter, let alone fight in it. It is the second in an exciting series of three books to date and well worth the purchase.
