Rick Nelson (known as Ricky in his younger years) started out playing himself in the "Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" TV show in the Fifties and Sixties. He then discovered Rock and Roll and found out he could sing, too. Rick became the first real "teen idol" and sold over 50 million records in his lifetime. He had 18 top 10 singles. He is ranked the 4th singles seller of all time.

Excellent perspective of the different phases of his life. One of the true "Rockabilly" greats.

No information not already in the public domain. Author just trying to make money. So brief as to be worthless.

Good informative story 4 star rating makes me want to know more about his life and music will read more books by hoag
